Farming on PancakeSwap

Farming on PancakeSwap consists of two major steps:
  1. 1.
    Providing liquidity to the pool.
  2. 2.
    Staking LP tokens and you accumulate as a reward for providing liquidity.
Taking out your LP tokens and liquidity consists of two major steps:
  1. 1.
    Unstaking your LP tokens.
  2. 2.
    Unstaking HAY–BUSD.
GET MORE FARMING REWARDS
Farming from our farming page will bring you more rewards than going directly to PancakeSwap and doing it from there.
This is because Helio also adds to your farming rewards from Helio Revenue Pool, which makes your rewards compound: DEX's + Helio's.
Should you choose to farm directly from PancakeSwap, you will miss on our compound rewards and will only receive the DEX's.

Providing liquidity to the pool

BEFORE YOU START
Ensure you have the amount of BUSD equal to the amount of HAY you want to provide.
With the recent introduction of StableSwap, rewards stopped in the old pool. You need to migrate your liquidity and LP tokens you're farming from the old pool to the new StableSwap pool. Read how to migrate.
  1. 1.
    Visit the farming dashboard.
  2. 2.
    In the Farming section, locate HAY–BUSD Stable LP under PancakeSwap and click Stake.

    On the Get LP and stake tab of the next page, enter the desired HAY Amount and BUSD Amount you want to provide to the pool.
  4. 4.
    Click Approve HAY and confirm the transaction in MetaMask.
  5. 5.
    Click Approve BUSD and confirm the transaction in MetaMask.
  6. 6.
    Click Get LP and stake and confirm the transaction in MetaMask.
  7. 7.
    On the next page, wait till the Transaction in progress turns into Complete! and click OK to get back to the farming dashboard.

Staking LP tokens and getting rewarded with HAY–BUSD aka farming

AUTOMATIC FARMING REWARDS THAT GET YOU MORE REWARDS
Your rewards in CAKE automatically swap to HAY–BUSD and periodically add to your liquidity pool share.
That means that your pool share increases, which in turn means more LP tokens and more farming rewards. Your rewards make you more rewards.
With the recent introduction of StableSwap, rewards stopped in the old pool. You need to migrate your liquidity and LP tokens you're farming from the old pool to the new StableSwap pool. Read how to migrate.

    Visit the farming page.
  2. 2.
    In the Farming section, locate the BUSD/HAY Stable LP pool under PancakeSwap and click Stake.
  3. 3.
    On the Stake LP tab of the next page, check how many LP tokens are available on the right and enter the desired LP Amount.
  4. 4.
    Click Approve and confirm the transaction in MetaMask.
  5. 5.
    Click Stake LP and confirm the transaction in MetaMask.
  6. 6.
    On the next page, wait till the Transaction in progress turns into Complete! and click OK to get back to the farming dashboard.
Your rewards in CAKE automatically swap to HAY–BUSD and periodically add to your liquidity pool share.
Your rewards from Helio remain claimable from the farming page.
UNSTAKE ANYTIME
You can unstake LP tokens and HAY–BUSD anytime.
Your farming rewards in HAY–BUSD get incorporated into your liquidity pool share. You don't need to take them out separately.

Migrating your liquidity and farmed LP tokens to the new StableSwap pool

With the recent introduction of StableSwap, you need to migrate your liquidity and LP tokens you're farming to StableSwap.
Here’s what you should do if you are currently staking (farming) your LP tokens on Helio:

Unstake your LP tokens from the old pool

  1. 1.
    Visit the farming page.
  2. 2.
    In the Farming section, locate HAY/BUSD LP under PancakeSwap and click Unstake.

    On the Unstake HAY-BUSD LP tab of the next page, check how many LP tokens are available on the right and enter the desired LP Amount.

    Click Unstake LP and confirm the transaction in MetaMask.
  5. 5.
    On the next page, wait till the Transaction in progress turns into Complete! and click OK to get back to the farming dashboard.
AUTOMATIC REWARD HARVESTING
You don't need to harvest your rewards by hand, they are harvested automatically.

Take your BUSD-HAY liquidity out from the old pool

  1. 1.
    Visit your liquidity page on PancakeSwap.
  2. 2.
    Locate HAY/BUSD box and click the arrow to see the liquidity you can take out.

    Click Remove.
    ​
  4. 4.
    On the next page, slide to the max to take out all the HAY-BUSD you put in. Then click Enable to enable liquidity withdrawal and click Remove. Confirm transactions in Metamask whenever needed.

Add liquidity to the new StableSwap pool

Make sure you're adding liquidity on Helio and not directly on PancakeSwap. This way, when farming, you're getting better compound rewards — both from PancakeSwap and Helio.

    Visit the farming dashboard.
  2. 2.
    In the Farming section, locate HAY-BUSD Stable LP under PancakeSwap and click Stake.

    On the Get LP and stake tab of the next page, enter the desired HAY Amount and BUSD Amount you want to provide to the pool.

    Click Approve HAY and confirm the transaction in MetaMask.
  5. 5.
    Click Approve BUSD and confirm the transaction in MetaMask.
  6. 6.
    Click Get LP and stake and confirm the transaction in MetaMask.
  7. 7.
    On the next page, wait till the Transaction in progress turns into Complete! and click OK to get back to the farming dashboard.

Stake your LP tokens in the new StableSwap pool

Make sure you're farming on Helio and not directly on PancakeSwap. This way you're getting better compound rewards — both from PancakeSwap and Helio.

    Your rewards from Helio remain claimable from the farming page.

Unstaking LP tokens​​

  1. 1.
    Visit the farming page.
  2. 2.
    In the Farming section, locate PancakeSwap and click Unstake.
  3. 3.
    On the Unstake HAY-BUSD LP tab of the next page, check how many LP tokens are available on the right and enter the desired LP Amount.
  4. 4.
    Click Unstake LP and confirm the transaction in MetaMask.
  5. 5.
    On the next page, wait till the Transaction in progress turns into Complete! and click OK to get back to the farming dashboard.

Unstaking HAY-BUSD and removing liquidity from the pool​​

  1. 1.
    Visit your liquidity page on PancakeSwap.
  2. 2.
    Locate HAY/BUSD box and click the arrow to see the liquidity you can take out.

    Click Remove.

    On the next page, slide to the max to take out all the HAY-BUSD you put in. Then click Enable to enable liquidity withdrawal and click Remove. Confirm transactions in Metamask whenever needed.
